My name is Duke.I don't talk much and have very little energy for OOC interaction. Keeping constant contact is not my strong suit and I prefer to keep conversations to meaningful ones - aka I like having a purpose for said convo.This unfortunately makes me short and sparse with my ooc plotting. I'm very quick and to the point so please don't take it to heart if I suddenly don't respond - it's usually because I have nothing else to say.

  • NSFW threads aren't my priority

  • Smut threads are my lowest priority

As long as it seems in character, I have no hard limits and very much a go-with-the-flow kinda RPer. If your muse wants to turn something into a more NSFW situation ( including, but not limited to: dark, sexual, and violent themes ) go right ahead. I will do so as well.Nothing is off limits. Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to come into my DMs and ask me about it.

In terms of priority: as ecstatic as I am to engage in NSFW threads, I lose interest very quickly and find it dull and boring to write. This makes me reply once every 3-6 months...so unless you are really invested I am probably not the best NSFW partner to write with.

The most important rule I think people forget: HAVE FUN.Roleplay is a hobby and if I turn out to be a person you don't enjoy having in your circle of friends or on your dash, then please don't be afraid to unfollow/block me. I won't take it to heart. Just know that I have the same right to unfollow and block whoever I want. We're responsible for our dash and the content we want to consume.

Low Activity & Threads

  • I queue posts for 1-2 per day

  • After 2-3 months of no response from either side, I will 'archive/drop' the thread

My reply turnaround time is dependent on how much muse I have for each particular thread. This unfortunately makes me more enthusiastic and will reply faster to muses who have interesting dynamics with mine - as well as my shipping partners (sorry not sorry).I am slow to pick up new threads as well as writing starters. So it might take me a long while for me to feel in a good place (stress wise) to pick up new threads and reach out to interact.

Muns with Multiple Muses

  • I prefer to focus my interactions with one or two of your muses

  • I don't mind waiting for a muse to come back to you (be it weeks, months, years, etc.)

I will be upfront. If you have a tendency to pick up and drop muses consistently within a short time span, I will be less interested in plotting and RPing with you and will most likely unfollow at a certain point.

Shipping

  • My muses will decide the fate of their relationship (if they decide to be committed or not, etc.)

  • My muses will have multiple relationships throughout their life

  • Everything is canon - in the same verse unless specified

Despite being a shipping whore, I let my muses decide the fate of their relationships. This means that their feelings reflect real life and can be interested in various muses for various reasons. They will flirt more with others, feel instant attraction or repulsion, admire or detest individual muses and portrayals depending on their history with my muses.If you want to ship with me then write with me. We can talk all we want ooc, but until my muses get a good grasp on how your muse operates and if they have chemistry through their actions and words (not just ooc talk), my muses won't be invested. And to that extent, myself as well.

  • Huffman is generally around 10 years older than Diluc, Jean, Lisa, Eula, Amber, etc.

  • Huffman is in charge of restocking and dispensing medication with Swan*

  • Huffman is the Scharfrichter (executioner) of Mondstadt making him a mortician, combat medic, doctor, surgeon, physician, etc. along side of being a knight

  • Huffman and Mika had very different childhoods

BIOGRAPHY

Huffman is one of the many people in Teyvat who has not received a vision (much to his dismay). Growing up in the free nation of Mondstadt and having free-spirited parents, Huffman grew up without much guidance and found his family within the Church and Knights who soon became a second home to him.As soon as he became of age, Huffman joined the knights and dedicated himself to becoming an ideal role model - burdening himself to keeping Mondstadt safe. But being so young and idealistic, his naivety led him to becoming a hardworking workaholic. But no matter what he did, nothing seemed to be enough.It would be much later in life that he would end up having a younger brother, Mika, who was dropped in his lap suddenly one day. Their parents (although loving) were off adventuring elsewhere, again, and Huffman was left to bear the weight of not only supporting himself but also raising his younger brother. He was unfortunately already struggling under the pressure of work that he took up heavy drinking and...much to his chagrin, Mika ended up taking care of him more than the other way around.

BIOGRAPHY

Being a typical military man, Il Capitano is your generic obedient masochistic people pleaser who desires to protect the people. He also a tall man, standing over seven feet tall. That's important for some reason.

The heart of those who look into the abyss shall be engulfed by the abyss,
and the souls of those who fall into the glacier shall become trapped in the glaciers.5

Few knew he belonged not to the heartless snowscape of the North. His true home was filled with never-withering flowers and never-frozen rivers. But he left his homeland. For he had a ranger's boundless spirit, which conflicted with the sages' narrow idealism.1The howling wind of the North was like a ferocious wolf pursuing the knight along his path. A normal traveler would have been devoured by the frosty wind. But he was not a normal traveler. In the storm, the knight raised the goblet filled with frosty wind and proposed a toast to his howling travel partner...the knight and the North Wind became friends.2The Knight of Boreas' journey ended at the city of Barbatos. Wandering souls attract each other, boundless freedom begets only anxiety. Upon entering the city, the Knight of Boreas' companion bade him farewell in silence. For the free-spirited Wolf resented the stone walls and lamplight, and yearned for the open wilds...Still one were they, the Wolf and the Knight.3When the Knight of Boreas noticed the whispered complaints of the people, he would set off on another journey.4The Wolf followed his scent into battle. Though one they were, death comes for beasts sooner than men. Laying down his sword as a gravestone, the Knight of Boreas buried the Wolf in the remote countryside. The Knight of Boreas then left the city behind, living instead the wandering life of a lone wolf.3The Knight of Boreas fought with monsters on the icy plains of the North.   • Decarabian held the original divine seat of Anemo Archon

  • Barbatos is one of the oldest entities in Teyvat* being a thread of the Thousand Winds

  • Barbatos (post Liyue Chapter) is the last remaining member of the Original Seven as far as everyone in Teyvat is aware

* he was a formless wind spirit, apart of the thousand winds who were extension of Istaroth's powers, observing the world and doing Istaroth's bidding. It wouldn't be until the Archon War did he gain a wisp-like form and his own will.

BIOGRAPHY

With the recent retirement death of the Geo Archon, Barbatos is the last of the original Seven who still remains to upholds his oath of guiding humanity. To think the absentee god of freedom, the most carefree of them all, is the last to fall is not so strange as one would think. "Life of an elemental being is longer than any in this world" and throughout time he has always watched over humanity.As a thread of the thousand winds, he was a breeze that brought subtle changes for the better, or tiny seeds of hope.
As the anemo archon, he guided humanity to overthrow tyrants over and over again.And now he waits to sing that final song of the future, his final seed of hope, that he had sung before. The tale of the traveler known as "calamity" finally bring down the tyrant's champion "fate" and the loom will be theirs to reweave.
